It’s scary, but you’re not alone!
How many times have you told yourselves
Why on earth have I started learning Italian? Ma chi me l’ha fatto fare?!
I keep studying but I don’t see results
I don’t have enough words to speak. Non trovo mai le parole
How much boring stuff should I go through?
Basta, I’m gonna quit and use English when I go to Italy!
And that’s OK. Va bene così. It’s normal, it’s human, because it’s scary to take a new path. And to keep going.
Excitement > fear > self-doubt > re-balance > action > excitement
> fear > self-doubt > re-balance > action …
It’s a never ending loop!
But thanks to that loop you’re here! Looking for new, exciting ways to keep your Italian going, to keep it part of your life.
Thanks to that loop, I am here, too. Anch’io sono qui.
When I decided to start Italian Time zone, my mind got all over the places:
Will I be able to make it? Ce la farò?
Will I have enough time? Avrò abbastanza tempo?
Will I be able to keep up? Riuscirò a stare al passo?
Then, I’ve realized that the more I was doing, the more confident I was getting.
I’ve realized that the whole journey is full of ups and downs and some days I feel like I’ll never get there, I’ll never keep up with all the things I have to learn and do.
I’ve realized I need to get myself small goals to achieve, something doable that will make me feel good once achieved.
Did I realize all these things alone?
Assolutamente no! Come avrei potuto?
I was in my excitement-and-fear loop and I started working with a coach, Jessica. The best choice ever! It’s great to have someone who gently guides and supports you so that you can empower yourself and take your learning in your hands.
And I’m here to support and empower you.
I’m here
to keep you motivated
to overcome your frustrations
to provide you cool stuff to learn with
to find that damn word in your head
I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy - would you believe me anyway? - but I can tell you’ll enjoy the journey discovering Italy, its history and all its amazing hidden gems!
Un esempio? Have a look at my special place in the Alps, Macugnaga and sua maestà il Monte Rosa.
Thank you so much for coming aboard!
Grazie mille per essere salito/a a bordo!
Sono onorata e felicissima di iniziare questo viaggio con te :)
